GPUMC VIM stands for Grosse Pointe United Methodist Church Volunteers in Mission.
We are part of the outreach ministry of the church, following a great tradition of United Methodist work in the community and in disaster-stricken areas of the world. For five years our VIM focus was rebuilding homes and lives in the city of New Orleans following the devastating hurricanes and flood of 2005. In 2011 we are turning our attention to other needs.
The focus of our work now is renovating a 13-unit apartment building owned and operated by Cass Community Social Services. For more information, please check out the Brady Building page.
